I am Joanna Clark of BluElla Photography but everyone calls me Jo. Feel free to call me by my real name if you’re upset with me. Emphasis on the “Ann” part always works.

BluElla is my company named after my daughter. Sounds much prettier than Jo Clark photography and less corny and confusing than Elvis Images (Elvis=my son’s name)…don’t you think?

Lover of my adorable children (not partial), my goofy, amazingly intelligent and talented husband, and our red golden, Dodger.

Photographer of beautiful people and their lives. Also photographer of things intriguing and eye catching.

Consumer of chocolate, coffee, ice cold reisling, and bags of salty chips (not necessarily in that order).

Forever in search of the “wow” factor.

Listener of music that has been lost in the Gen Y era…Led Zeppelin, The Carpenters, Alabama, Billy Joel, Bob Dylan, Stevie Nicks, Dan Fogelberg, Depeche Mode, Don Henley…Ok…I’ll stop here. This blog is not big enough for the rest.

Teacher of public school children and co-captain (technical term) of a nonprofit my hubby and I run together to send financially disadvantaged kids to science camp in 6th grade.
