You may remember some of the faces in this post from a previous entry HERE and ALSO HERE. Life has a funny way of surprising you. In this case, the surprise was another blessing for my good friends, this time in the shape of a perfect, baby girl. I have known Court for decades now…yes, literally decades (I’m old), and it is so amazing to be able to share the experience of motherhood with her. I will refrain from getting all sappy here and just get on to a few images I snapped for them after they brought their new baby home. Court…next time I come take pictures for you, I will not stand on an air mattress! Oh and…clean your room! XOXO

There is nothing more exciting than the weeks leading up to the arrival of your first baby. How lucky am I to get to photograph such a magical time? How much more lucky am I to be able to do this for one of our dearest friends? I get to watch that little mystery lump grow up. I get to snuggle him or her and watch our friends make their way through the ever crazy but rewarding journey of parenthood. You may recognize her face from last year’s engagement session HERE.

I simply can’t wait! On to my beautiful friend and her beautiful bump on a beautiful beach in a beautiful town.

Remember this gorgeous couple here? Yep, well they are now three! Oh and a little bit of jealousy due to the fact that mom looks this amazing shortly after having a baby. It’s simply not fair. When I pulled up to their house, there was definitely no mistaking I was at the right place even though I did get lost for a mere 35 minutes. Hubby hired a service to come decorate their lawn while they were in the hospital. Don’t even think about nominating yours for Hubby of the Year because this guy already won. So sweet.

Someone looks like a spotlight hog and it’s not the newborn.

Sorry little buddy…there’s a new sheriff in town.
