What type of photography do you specialize in?

I specialize in maternity, infant, child and family photography but am always up for opportunities to show creative vision in all areas. I take a limited amount of weddings per year so please contact me for more details. Boudoir photography is also a specialty but due to the sensitive nature of the session, many shoots will not appear on the blog. I am an on location photographer and prefer to use natural light whenever possible. While I will be happy to give you the poses and picture ideas you envision in your shoot, I will also give you a photojournalistic look into your family or child/children’s lives and interactions together from a wholistic, lifestyle point of view. The individual attention you receive and the fun you will have during a custom designed photography session in a creative location will have you view the mall studio, wrinkled curtain pictures in a completely different light. The Sacramento area offers an abundance of varied and amazing photo shooting locations, but capturing your children or family in your own home may be just as touching. The possibilities and creative opportunities are endless.

Is this your website or your blog?

Well, actually it’s both. In an attempt to eliminate the redundancy of multiple sites, I have combined them both into a single “blogsite”. There should be more than enough material here for you to get a great sampling of my work.

Why are you posting personal pictures about you and your family on your business blogsite?

It is my opinion that when choosing someone you want to capture your memories, you should know a little bit about that person. My passion for beautiful images was fueled as a young girl, but my family continues to be a huge source of my daily inspiration and I feel it necessary to include them in my journey.

What is your pricing schedule?

A $150 session fee is required to book a date which includes a $50 print credit. The session fee covers the time we spend together on your shoot, my creativity behind the lens, and my time and talent editing and giving individual attention to each photograph before presentation in your personal online gallery.  Sessions generally last between 1 and 2 hours with newborn shoots sometimes taking a bit longer due to the nature of the subject.
