Sarah and Thomas’ engagement session at a private horse ranch in Discovery Bay was everything in my dreams. It took me about 3 seconds to decide I absolutely adored Sarah and Thomas. I mean I actually loved them before I met them hearing their story from Sarah’s mom and finding out she was a horse girl like me. When they told me they wanted to shoot their engagement session a their friend’s private Arabian Ranch I practically jumped through the phone right that second. On top of that, I found out Thomas is a firefighter and they were bringing their dog to the shoot. All hail members of the fire community and dog and horse lovers. As illustrated below, they are a damn hoot and we had a blast roaming around the property capturing their personalities and joy to be in each other’s presence. Very much looking forward to their wedding and am excited to share that with y’all soon. Congrats you two!

Brooke and Peter’s Gold Hill Gardens Newcastle wedding was like out of a fairy tale. Brooke and Peper and the type of couple you want to hang out with. When family and laughter are your focus in life, it’s easy to connect. Brooke and Peter have been together forever (obviously we are rounding here) and finally decided to make it official in front of their loved ones. Most importantly, their little boy got to be a part of the celebration and memory making. There is something so heartwarming about watching a couple tie the knot and hold their child for family photos. It was an honor to witness their union and be a part of their day. Mike and Cindy of the stunning Gold Hill Gardens are so gracious and welcoming with their venue and spent the evening with the couple and their guests for a truly memorable event. Congratulations Callegari Family!

As an avid outdoorswoman and flat out lover of the Mammoth area, when Tani and Jeff contacted me about shooting their Convict Lake Resort wedding, I about jumped through the phone to agree with a vigorous embrace. The natural, enchanting setting of the Mammoth Lakes area complimented their love of the outdoors and Tani did a fabulous job of bringing this rustic vibe to their details as well. From the quaint cabins secluded in the aspens to the breathtaking ceremony spot overlooking the lake and the mountain range, Convict Resort is a haven for those wanting to embrace the mountain feel. Tani and Jeff exude happiness and positivity and it was a pleasure working with them to witness the union of their two cultures and families. Not to mention the fact that Tani used to work for Ghiradelli and they incorporated a massive chocolate and caramel station for the smores bar available for their guests. Yes please! One of the accents of the wedding that has remained with me was the paper crane station that their friends and family painstakingly constructed one crane at a time. It truly emphasized how loved they were and was a beautiful visual of this cultural tradition coming to life. Thank you to all the coordinators, chefs, and staff at the Convict Lake Resort for being so fantastic to work with and for making Tani and Jeff’s vision become a reality. Congratulations you two!
