I absolutely adore capturing families in their home in a raw, lifestyle environment. Surrounded by all their comforts, having just completed their family with a brand new baby and a feisty toddler filling the walls with love and life. It is a privilege to be allowed inside to record such timeless memories for them. Congratulations on your new baby girl and the start of your lives together as a family of four.

You may remember some of the faces in this post from a previous entry HERE and ALSO HERE. Life has a funny way of surprising you. In this case, the surprise was another blessing for my good friends, this time in the shape of a perfect, baby girl. I have known Court for decades now…yes, literally decades (I’m old), and it is so amazing to be able to share the experience of motherhood with her. I will refrain from getting all sappy here and just get on to a few images I snapped for them after they brought their new baby home. Court…next time I come take pictures for you, I will not stand on an air mattress! Oh and…clean your room! XOXO
We had a week her in Sacramento where it was like 34 degrees below zero. Ok…it was like 40 but still…it felt like frostbite was going to sink in at any moment. Of course it was the only time when we could schedule this gorgeous family’s pictures so this entire set of images was taken in a span of like 6 minutes. No joke. You may recognize this family from HERE not only because they are drop dead gorgeous, but also because they are our dear friends. What an honor it is to document your friend’s growing family. This little guy is going to be a brother! Her kids will be super close together like mine…good luck my friend, good luck! xo
