I’m not sure if it was the love between the bride and groom that choked me up more during this wedding or the relationship the beautiful bride had with her doting father. He even brought a book he gave her when she was a little girl and had it displayed at the reception. This lovely wedding was held at the Lake Natoma Inn in Folsom, Ca and I got a chance to shoot it with Anita Martin Photography. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and honest lifelong relationships and left my heart full and happy at the end of the night.

When you think about all the things that would make up a sweet, country wedding, you might envision something like this. Light hearts, strong familial bonds, and of course, cowboy boots. You can tell by the emotion on their faces how joyous and loving this entire group was. It is so refreshing when couples embrace the moments of the day and remain stress free while sharing their most sacred moments with their favorite people. Once again, I got the opportunity to shoot for my amazing and talented friend, Anita Martin Photography who always makes every wedding so absolutely enjoyable that it doesn’t feel like work one bit.

Coyote Ranch Wedding

I have been absolutely giddy about blogging this wedding I got to second shoot for Anita Martin Photography. Not only is shooting weddings with her my favorite thing to do, but the spirit and joy of this beautiful couple knocked my socks off. I mean seriously, I couldn’t count the number of times the bride smiled throughout her wedding day. Big, enormous, genuine, happy as a clam smiles. Groom too! And the wedding party and guests…well one look at them is simple proof that every person in attendance was there to have a good time. The Squaw Valley Lodge venue was a class act and driving around the lake with the bridal party for pre-ceremony photos was the icing on the cake. I wish I could instill in all brides the importance of letting go of the stress and having a fabulous time on your wedding day. It is after all, the one time in your life when you will have all your loved ones in the same place at the same time…soak it up!
