Amanda and David

I recently had the chance to second shoot this wedding in Gualala for the amazing and uber talented Nicole Cook of Nicole Cook Photography. If you’ve never been to Gualala, here’s what you are missing. Steep, sheer clifts overlooking stunning royal blue water. Inland you can find dense forests with the scent of eucalyptus wafting through the air. No cell service, no drive thrus, no strip malls, chain stores, or Wal Marts. Just pure, natural beauty. David and Amanda have been together for years and this official union joining was much anticipated. The little girl in the images is their daughter and second to Amanda of course, stole the show. Here are some images I captured from this gorgeous day.

Warning: Major beach pics overload coming now! They were so fun and the beach so gorgeous, I couldn’t resist.

Ok, does it get any cuter than this? Seriously!

And the wide angle angels descend on the sand and sing…..ahhhhhh!!! My fave from the day.

Ok this one is a close second…man how I love those starfires.

No, wait, this one. Ah! I can’t shoose.

Nothing like having an amazing stretch of beach all to yourselves on your wedding day. Magical…

Here’s to happily ever after.

Signing off with my last shot of the day…what a beautiful world! Congrats David and Amanda!

Wow!! Such happiness was captured in these photos. The natural beauty of the backdrops are breathtaking but the one where the daughter is putting on Mommy’s shoe…… took my breath away. Perhaps because I’m a mom and hormonal but something so precious about her face, how happy she is to be helping Mom and such a big role on her special day. Two thumbs up Jo, as always. – Your numero uno fanReplyCancel
