I met Katie and Kyle (that sounds lovely together doesn’t it) at Devere’s Irish Pub in downtown Sacramento for a chilly, overcast, winter engagement session. I really like to get my couples liquored up before shooting them. Just kidding…sort of. We started here because the pub is one of their favorite hang outs and a place where they spend a lot of time with friends. Making sessions meaningful by incorporating parts of their everyday lives just feels right. We strolled around downtown Sacramento and through the Capitol for a bit to round put our time together. I absolutely can’t wait to shoot their wedding this October in Northstar at Tahoe as it was clear by hanging out with them for a few hours, that their wedding is going to overflow with love and laughter.
