Raquel and Sean met in Vegas while attending separate bachelorette and bachelor parties. She was living in Texas and he in San Diego. Upon their first encounter with each other, they both knew this immediate friendship was going to lead them out of Sin City straight to the alter. Well, they may not have known it quite that soon, but when Raquel went to visit Sean in San Diego a while later, she never left his side. What happened in Vegas, definitely did not stay in Vegas. Thank goodness because these two are a match made in hilarity heaven. Just being in their presence, surrounded by the lighthearted and genuine adoration the have for each other gave my smile muscles an 8 hour workout. They chose The Forest House Lodge as their venue of choice for their nuptials and a place where their destination wedding guests could monopolize the entire establishment. People traveled from near and as far as Guam to watch these two join forces. The ceremony was full of happy tears and emotion while the reception overflowed with positive energy and laughter. During the ceremony, Sean read a poem he wrote for Raquel when they were first courting that could quite possibly go down in best ceremony poem delivery history. I could not get enough of this day and am pretty sad that they live so far away as I’d for sure be knocking down their door to hang out, drink beers, and listen to country music with them. My only regret was missing the after party because I know they rocked the pine needles right off the trees. Raquel…you were a knockout. Sean…you are the raddest rainbow unicorn sock wearing dude I’ve ever met. Thank you to you both and your friends and family for making me feel like I was one of y’all (had to throw some twang in there). Your day was one I won’t soon forget.

Ok, I’m just dying over the beauty of these images. I don’t know if you can share, but I love your black and whites so much and I am wondering how you get the coloring so perfect. I have been into photography for about 2 Years now (my kids mostly), and my black and whites always have a tint of color to them. I love your deep coloring. Any tips?, if you have time 😉
