I am a major sucker for beautiful accents. When Auriele and Jean came my way and told me they were French, I was counting down the days I got to to photograph them and hear them rattle off ordinary words that just sound so much prettier with a foreign twist. They are very new to our country, about a year, choosing the fabulous city of San Francisco as their new base. I fell in love with them immediately. The way they snuggled, giggled, and held each other was almost like reading a romance novel. The fact that they chose to wait to find out the sex of their first baby and the fact that they brought their French Bulldog named “Hawaii” to the shoot, made me adore them even more. Not just any French Bulldog…a REAL French Bulldog…like all the way from France. We chose to start the maternity session at Lover’s Lane at the Presidio and then head to Sutro Baths in San Francisco. I so enjoyed my time with them and wish them the best of luck with their new addition.
