So I may have gone a little “bride pic happy” in this post. I don’t think I’ve ever been around someone who laughed or smiled more. I mean, like genuine, to the core, roaring happiness. This couple had the most gorgeous wedding at the Viaggio Winery, which on another note, is a major class act of a venue. This wedding was made even more beautiful by the bride and groom and how much joy and laughter surrounded their family. I sincerely thank Anita Martin Photography for having me second shoot this jubilant affair with her.

We decided to shoot Anjel and Ryan’s engagement…well actually “post wedding session” at the Effie Yeaw Nature Center in Carmichael. I first met Anjel when we did her college senior portraits (which are amazing by the way…I just haven’t gotten around to blogging them yet) and she mentioned that she wanted an engagement session when her fiance returned from the service on a brief break. During the time between her session and this one, they tied the knot in the Central Coast while their families happened to all be together at the same time. Ryan is shipping off again soon so it was amazing to have them together and for me to be able to spend time with them and witness them in the week after they tied the knot. I have such a deep amount of respect for couples who are so strong to endure the demands of the service. It takes an uber strong relationship and these two are for sure destined to stand the test of time. Thank you Ryan for risking your life for our country and for Anjel for being one of the most beautiful people I’ve ever met…both inside and out! Congratulations you guys!

Wine is constant proof that God loves us and loves to see us happy.
Benjamin Franklin

There is no better quote to describe the union of these two people here that my heart overfloweth with love for. It was only fitting that they tie their union in Sonoma, a quaint little wine country destination. They met at 58 Degrees and Holding, the best dang wine bar in California where they currently work pouring the finest…as Google calls it, “alcoholic drinks made from fermented grape juice”. Many of you viewing this post know this couple. The honest sweetness and infinite patience that runs through Amber like a gently flowing stream and the odd, lengthy eccentric noises and tall tales of Trainspotting’esque’ bathroom scenes that run through Ed. If only one of these images was the talking version of of a scratch and sniff…you know, like a press and listen, where the entire world could hear some of these “special” rhapsodies on command. You may just have to go visit him at the wine bar to hear them in person where I guarantee you that both him and Amber will be your personal sommeliers and leave you with a belly full of the most amazing spirits and delectable desserts and a heart full of happiness. For they are the kind of people that just make you jubilant simply being in their presence.

Congratulations to a couple that means so much to us. CHEERS! I definitely need to pour a class of wine this instant thinking about you two.

For the first time ever, I was not able to cull my favorite shot of this laughter set. So I included them all. Because they make me happy.
